🧠 Context
TL:DR - we’re protecting our business and deferring salary review until 2023.
- We’re choosing to invest in the long term protection of Learnerbly, our runway, and our people by protecting roles and deferring our salary increases to May 2023.
- In the meantime we’ll be making a monthly cost of living payment between November ‘22 and April ‘23.
- For the time being we need to ensure that we keep the Learnerbly engine running and have enough fuel to keep us on the runway so we can win together.
- But, we understand that everyone is working hard to contribute to this success, and we know the cost of living is increasing.
🍂 From November 2022
We’ll temporarily make a monthly cost of living payment starting from November pay, ending on (+ included in) April pay day:
| What this means for me | Payment per month
(before tax) |
| --- | --- |
| Salary £70,001 - 100,000 | £200 |
| Salary £50,001 - 70,000 | £250 |
| Salary £40,001 - 50,000 | £300 |
| Salary under £40,000 | £400 |
| I’m based in North Macedonia / India | €125 / INR 11,875 |
| I joined Learnerbly from 1 August 2022+ | No payment |
➡️ Principles
- Those who joined after 1 August 2022 are not eligible for a cost of living payment
- Those based in Spain, Italy or Sweden will receive the equivalent payment in EUR / SEK
- The Exec & LT with salaries over £90,000 are not eligible for a cost of living payment
🌷 From May 2023
In May 2023, everyone will have the opportunity to have their salary reviewed, but this doesn’t necessarily guarantee an increase.
