Who will be part of the core team managing the project?
Core team
Before initiating the project, it's crucial to establish a 'Core Team'. This group isn't just responsible for driving the project, but also owns the ‘system’—the compensation calculator and compensation philosophy. Their ownership extends beyond the project's completion, ensuring the system's ongoing evolution and centralised oversight to maintain its integrity.
This team will typically comprise of 3 to 4 people:
- 1 x Exec Stakeholder e.g. CEO, COO, CFO
- 1 x People Team Snr Stakeholder e.g. CPO, VP of People, Director of People
- 1-2 People from the People Team e.g. People Partner, TA
- 1 x Member from the finance team e.g. CFO
Responsibilities during the project build phase
The Core Team members are expected to:
- Attend weekly meetings (attendance, particularly for the finance stakeholder, is based on the relevance of agenda items).
- Make key decisions
- Carry out actions to advance the project
